Notorious Canadian Murderers

Clifford Robert Olsen Jr. killed three boys and eight girls between the ages of 9-18 years old. All the bodies of the eleven children were found in a secluded area in Vancouver. Some of the victims had been raped and sodomized, some were stabbed, others were strangled or bludgeoned. During the trial he plead 'not guilty' to ten of the eleven counts of first-degree murder, however when the eleventh one was read, sixteen year old Sandra Wolfsteiner, he changed his plea to guilty to all eleven of the charges.
Olson was locked up for the first time in 1957, when he was seventeen years old, sentenced to nine months for burglary.  Over the next twenty-four years Olson has nearly a hundred convictions against him including obstruction of justice, possession of stolen property, possession of firearms, forgery, false pretenses, fraud, parole violation, impaired driving, theft, break and enter and theft, armed robbery, rape, buggery and indecency, also escaping from prison seven times. On November 17 1980 Olson claimed his first victim, twelve year old Christine Weller's body is found on Christmas day. Weller's body showed signs of stabbing and strangulation. After killing his third victim, Olson seduces Joan Hale into marrying him on May 18 1981. July 2 1981 Olson kills nine year old Simon Partington bringing the toll up to six victims. Olson is arrested after trying to pick up two female hitchhikers.
As a kid Olson was bullied in school. At eight years old he learned how to box in order to stand up against the  classmates who had once bullied him. Olson would steal flowers and berries from the backyard of  the growers then sell them back to them. Later he began skipping class at the age of ten before quitting school completely in grade nine.

Marc Lépine was a mass murderer who went into the University of Montreal and killed fourteen woman and injured ten more woman and four men before turning the gun on himself. Lepine fits a huge amount of the characteristics of a mass murderer. He had planned out what he had wanted to do prior to when the massacre occurred.  Marc began hating women in the early stages in his life, blaming all of his failures on them, so when he finally snapped his main target was women. Many psychologists believe that his hatred towards woman began with his abusive father, who believed "all woman are chattel", he not only abused his son but his wife as well.  Lepine had applied to join the Canadian forces at the age of 17 but had gotten rejected during the interview process. In his suicide note Marc Lepine had believed he was rejected due to his anti-social .behavior, the military later released a statement saying "He had been... assessed and determined unsuitable." When asked about Lepine, classmates said that Lepine was never the kind of student to do drugs or drink but had an odd obsession with war movies. Teachers recall that he was a model student getting good grades and almost always attended classes. But then suddenly stopped attending classes in February 1986.
